Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. After a short briefing on the upcoming adventure, you’ll transfer to your hotel for a restful evening, getting ready for the journey ahead.
Start your safari with a relaxing tour of Entebbe. Visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers, with an impressive array of flora and fauna. You’ll also have an opportunity to visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, home to various rescued native animals, for an educational and interactive experience.
Travel to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest and oldest conservation area, known for its thundering waterfalls and diverse wildlife. Highlights here include:
- Day 3: Afternoon boat cruise on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where you’ll witness the powerful force of the river squeezing through a narrow gorge.
- Day 4: Morning game drive to spot wildlife like lions, elephants, and giraffes, followed by a hike to the top of the falls for panoramic views.
Head to Kibale Forest, renowned for its high population of primates. Activities include:
- Day 5: Guided nature walk and visit to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a beautiful area with birdlife and monkeys.
- Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest, where you’ll observe and learn about these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat.

- Day 9: Arrive in Bwindi, and settle in for a relaxing evening in preparation for your trek.
- Day 10: Gorilla trekking day! With an expert guide, embark on a trek through the rainforest to observe a family of endangered mountain gorillas up close.
After the exhilarating trek, unwind by the serene Lake Bunyonyi. Here, you’ll enjoy:
- Day 11: Canoe trip across the lake, known for its scenic islands and birdlife.
- Day 12: Leisurely exploration of local villages, learning about the culture and traditions of the local communities.
Head into Rwanda for more wildlife adventures in Volcanoes National Park, the habitat of the majestic mountain gorillas.
- Day 13: Settle into your lodge near the park, with an optional cultural visit to a local Rwandan village.
- Day 14: Second gorilla trekking experience or, alternatively, a hike to see the golden monkeys, unique to this region.

Travel to Lake Kivu, a beautiful and vast lake on Rwanda's western border. Enjoy a relaxing two-day retreat with activities including:
- Day 16: Swimming, sunbathing, and kayaking on the lake.
- Day 17: Visit local coffee plantations to see how Rwanda’s world-renowned coffee is produced and sample freshly brewed coffee.
Arrive in Kigali, Rwanda's vibrant capital, for a cultural and historical tour:
- Day 18: Guided city tour of Kigali, including the Kimironko Market and local artisan shops.
- Day 19: Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about Rwanda’s history and resilience, a deeply moving and reflective experience.
