Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your guide. After a brief introduction and overview of your safari itinerary, you will embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which takes approximately 7-8 hours. This journey offers beautiful views of the Ugandan countryside, including picturesque hills, valleys, and local villages.
Along the way, you may stop for lunch at a local restaurant or packed lunch at one of the scenic viewpoints. Upon reaching the park, check in at your lodge or camp, where you can relax and freshen up. In the evening, enjoy a guided nature walk to explore the surrounding area, where you may spot various wildlife and bird species. Afterward, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of the park.

After your game drive, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a memorable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. After an early breakfast, check out of your lodge and head to Kyambura Gorge for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. This gorge, located on the eastern edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park, is home to a community of wild chimpanzees. Your guide will provide a briefing before you begin your trek through the lush forest, where you’ll have the chance to observe the playful chimps in their natural habitat.
After your tracking experience, return to your lodge for a late breakfast. You may have some time to relax before departing the park. Depending on your flight schedule, you can enjoy an optional activity, such as visiting a local community or exploring additional viewpoints in the park.
Finally, begin your drive back to Entebbe International Airport, taking approximately 7-8 hours. Your guide will assist you with your luggage and ensure a smooth check-in for your departure flight, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your Queen Elizabeth National Park safari.
